Mercedes CLS 450 Restore Detail in Dallas

This Mercedes-Benz CLS 450 received our Restore Package, with full exterior decontamination and detailed steam cleaning inside.

This CLS 450 belonged to the same 83-year-old Vietnam Special Forces veteran as the Silverado. The Mercedes needed more than routine upkeep, so we gave it a complete detail inside and out.

The challenge

Black paint makes dirt and buildup easy to see. The exterior also had bonded material that a normal wash could not remove. Inside, dirt had collected around small gaps and other hard-to-reach areas.

Cleaning beyond the surface

A normal wash and wipe-down would not have been enough. The goal was to clean the hidden areas, remove buildup from the paint, and give the whole car a fresh start.

The process

We washed the exterior, then used iron remover and a clay bar to remove bonded material from the paint. We also cleaned the wheels, tires, wheel wells, glass, trim, and other exterior surfaces. Inside, we vacuumed the cabin and used steam to clean the vents, buttons, seams, cupholders, console, doors, and other tight areas.

Getting into the details

We worked through the car one section at a time. Steam helped lift dirt from small gaps and detailed surfaces that are often missed during a basic cleaning.

The result

The CLS 450 finished with smooth, glossy black paint and a fully cleaned cabin. The wheels were bright, the glass was clear, and the details across the car looked sharp again.
